Minimalist sideboard designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, the Netherlands, 1958.
This highly collectable DU-01 sideboard is regarded as a true icon of Dutch Midcentury design.
The sideboard has an outstanding clean geometrical design with a minimal black lacquered metal base, beautiful teak wood and black rectangular handles.
The teak wood veneer has a beautiful and warm patina.
On the left you find storage compartments with shelve, on the right four bentwood drawers (the interior of the drawers is just wonderfull, see photos)
The sideboard is in a very good original condition with normal traces of use.
