In 1971, Børge Mogensen designed the luxurious Coupé Sofa with the distinctive high 106 cm back, especially designed for cozy, comfortable evenings by the fireplace. Shown here with an additional middle cushion.
The dark chocolate brown leather is beautifully preserved and of the finest feel. Overall very nicely preserved two-seater sofa.
Danish designer Børge Mogensen conceived many quality pieces of furniture in the 1940s to 1960s, often influenced by traditional Windsor and Shaker furniture.
