Charles & Ray Eames - Softpad Chaise ES106
1968 by Herman Miller, USA
American director Billy Wilder, a long-time friend of Charles and Ray Eames, was behind the creation of this piece of furniture. He was looking for a chaise longue to use for moments of relaxation or short breaks during filming.
Six cushions connected by zippers are attached to the aluminum frame, and two more mobile cushions complete the comfort. The Chaiselongue was purchased in New York in 1999. It is in good used condition.
