Minimalist sideboard designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, the Netherlands, 1958.
This highly collectable DU-01 sideboard is regarded as a true icon of Dutch midcentury design.
The sideboard has an outstanding clean geometrical design with a minimal black lacquered metal base, see photos, beautiful teak wood and black rectangular handles.
The teak wood veneer has a beautiful and warm patina with a wonderful pattern!
On the left you find a storage compartment with shelve, on the right four bentwood drawers (the interior of the drawers is just stunning)
The sideboard is in a very good original condition with normal traces of use.
