Extremely rare wall-hung sideboard (Mod°123) from 1952, designed by Florence Knoll for Knoll International - this version was produced in 1952 in a small edition by Knoll in Stuttgart.
The sliding doors are woven with seagrass, a beautiful, warm and subtle detail.
Stitched leather strips as handles. The body is made of oiled teak on the outside, light maple was processed on the inside - a fine contrast.
Overall, the sideboard seems very delicate and almost Japanese due to its rare depth of 38cm, a dreamlike piece of design history, almost 70 years old!
It comes from first ownership of a Paris collection and has always been maintained, the condition is simply beautiful, with a patina which you can not imitate.
The original Knoll manufacturing labels can be found on the back, as well as the fixtures for wall hanging.
