This famous object was designed by Marianne Brandt (1893-1983), manufactured in the early 1930’s by RUPPEL (Ruppelwerk GmbH, Gotha, Germany. Marianne Brandt, one of the most celebrated of the Bauhaus students became a master and headed the metal workshop from 1928. This is a signed original.
