Minimalist sideboard designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, the Netherlands, 1958.
This highly collectable CU-04 sideboard / highboard is regarded as a true icon of Dutch Midcentury design.
The sideboard has an outstanding clean geometrical design with a minimal black lacquered metal base, beautiful teak wood and black rectangular handles.
The teak wood veneer has a beautiful and warm patina.
On the top you find storage compartments with shelves behind the double-folding doors - on the bottom four bentwood drawers (the interior of the drawers is just wonderfull, see photos)
The sideboard is in a very good original condition with normal traces of use.
